Chard runs over permanent pasture with solid, inviting fences and a flowing, up‑to‑height cross‑country track that uses the site’s natural undulations without being overly technical. Much of the course can be viewed from a single spectator vantage point, and ground care—including slitting, stonedust, and aerovation—is carried out as needed to maintain good going. Dressage and showjumping take place on all‑weather surfaces with dedicated warm‑up arenas, ensuring consistent footing throughout the day. On‑site permanent stabling is available.
